THE names of those running in the Westbury by election, called after the death of town councillor Peter Ezra, have been announced.
Former mayor of Westbury Bill Braid (Ind) and newcomer Em Underwood (Con) will be competing for a seat on Westbury Town Council in the Ham ward on Thursday December 11.
The polling stations will be open between 7am and 10pm at the Bell Orchard in Field Close, the Methodist Church Hall in Station Road and the Youth Centre off Eden Vale Road.
Cllr Ezra died aged 73 in September following a long term illness. He was a staunch member of the Labour Party and was elected to represent the Ham ward in 2007.
